Manhattan Murder Mystery

Forget about Scott, Laci and Amber. Manhattan's got a real murder/love triangle now, and it's far more interesting than a pregnant Modesto housewife and her chubby fertilizer salesman husband.

Catherine Woods, a beautiful 21-year-old classically trained dancer, was brutally murdered in her Upper East Side apartment on Sunday night. Her family back in Columbus, Ohio, knew she had moved here with her longtime sweetheart/maybe fiance David Haughn (a baby-faced wannabe rap star who goes by the name City!) to pursue her dreams of dancing on Broadway. What they didn't know was that she was indeed "dancing" all over New York City — at upscale strip clubs. Her topless days (as "Ava") began at Privilege and before moving to Flash Dancers on Broadway (which any of my old co-workers and I can tell you has the best pizza in town).

In addition to questioning her live-in lover, police are now looking into her stormy on-again, off-again relationship with a hunky personal trainer named Paul Vincent Cortez, who is the singer of a band called Stillwater. Cortez was reportedly "distraught" over a girl recently, according to co-workers (mmm mmm, I'll bet he was).

Alert Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Brian Austin Green and Anthony Michael Hall's agents pronto — this has made-for-TV movie written all over it. And make sure that "Sixteen Candles" dude is on the 'roids again.
