As much as I love Roger Federer, the game of tennis has never really been the same for me since Patrick Rafter retired. The two-time U.S. Open champ personified the Australian tennis gentleman role model -- and was so fun to watch play (oh, and
look at). Sadly, chronic injuries and the desire to start a family were led him to retire just before his 30th birthday. These days, Pat and his gorgeous wife, Lara Feltham, are busy raising a family back Down Under. But they managed to get a babysitter last night so they could attend the Sydney premiere of "The Bourne Ultimatum" at the State Theatre in Sydney. Retirement, Mr. Rafter, certainly agrees with you ...

I am totally impressed at your pun on a rather obscure (but one of my favorite) Paul Simon songs!
Ah, a Rafter sighting! Always a treat.
Love, love, LOVE Pat Rafter! My all-time favorite male player. I watched him practice once at the US Open and will always remember that I was inches away from him at one point. Yes, I like Roger a lot but Pat Rafter is something else.
