Blogstar Confidential

Kudos to Out Magazine for including several prominent gay bloggers in its current Out 100 issue. Keith Boykin, Andy Towle and David Hauslaib -- the guys behind keithboykin.com, towleroad and queerty -- are interviewed (left to right, above), and celeb-bloggers Trent Vanegas of Pink Is the New Blog and Mario "dba Perez Hilton" Lavandeira are also mentioned in the piece. While the power of the blogosphere is hardly a secret anymore, it's nice to see the gay mainstream media (and principal competition) recognize these bloggers' contributions to gay culture.

If good blogging involves turning your blog into P-town, Fire Island, and Palm Springs - then sure, they are excellent. Otherwise, BORING. Yeah, I'm a hardass, but after you've seen one queen rule, you've seen 'em all, no? Come on, show us something NEW boys...
